October TBR

So, the last two months I have (somehow) managed to read 6 books. I’m aiming for the same again! I have a few books that are definites, which so far are:

  1. Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo. I’ve heard so many good things about this book, and I’m a bit of the way through already, and it’s so good so far! The writing is incredible, I’m so excited to see where it goes
  2. The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar. This was on my TBR for last month, but it never came from the library which is annoying. So hopefully this month it comes
  3. Wilde Like Me by Louise Pentland. Yes, it’s a youtuber book, but I’ve been listening to her podcast and watching a lot of her old videos, and now I really want to read it!

These are all library books, so I want to try and read books from home too. I said this last month, and did I do it? Absolutely not. It’s like, they’ve been staring at me for so long that I now feel the desperate need to get myself new books all the time. Is this relatable? Why do library books fill that hole for me?

I’m also hoping to write more reviews as I go, because I’ve ended up with a bit of a backlog from last month.

Let me know what you think, and if you have any recommendations for what I should read this month!
