WWW Wednesday #2

This is a simple weekly catch up where we talk about what we’re reading.

What are you currently reading?

I’ve just started Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater. I bought this a while ago, because of how much I loved the Raven Boys, but I’ve only just got around to starting it. I’m really excited to see if it lives up to my expectations!

What did you recently finish reading?

I’ve managed to read four books since my last WWW Wednesday, which I’m really impressed by!

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins. Check out my review for this here!

One Day by David Nicholls. Review for this coming soon. I loved this book, it was so well written, I am obsessed with both of the characters, and wow that ending had me in tears. SO GOOD.

Some Girls Are by Courtney Summers. Very average, honestly. I thought they were going to deal with the rape really well, but they didn’t! I might write a review for this too, but I don’t know if I have enough to say?

Flawless by Sara Shepard. This is the second book in the Pretty Little Liars series, which I’ve read before, but I’m now watching the show for the first time! I’ve really enjoyed seeing the differences, but I don’t think I’ll read the rest – it’s not different enough to bother going through it all twice.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m really hoping I’ll be able to get the Henna Wars from the library soon, because I’m on the wait list! Otherwise I have a very large pile of books at home, so I’m sure I can find something…
