You may remember, not too long ago, when I challenged myself to participate in Blogtober. This means writing a blog post every single day of the month, which I aim for as much as possible, but I’ve never properly attempted to do this! And, luckily, I was successful! I just scheduled my last post (apart from this one), and came right here to celebrate.
31 posts in 31 days, and I’m super happy with myself. Sure, some of them were short posts mid-readathon. Some were full of sappy love and emotion. I ran a giveaway, which finishes any second now. My favourite posts are always the ones that make people think. This post on LGBTQ+ media, or politics, or covergirl, or bad representations. The ones where people go, hey, yeah, this is a problem, thanks for talking about it, Victoria! It means I know that my blog means something, and I love all of you that help me recognise that.
My YouTube channel is coming back more regularly, too! I posted three times this month (actually, I’m scheduling this, so maybe even four if I get onto editing). I have a week off next week on my own, so that means even more time to pre-film and edit! I want to post even more next month on my channel, and try and keep up with my blog posts. Not every day though, don’t be crazy!
How did you guys go with Blogtober? If you didn’t participate, do you think you’d want to try to a different, less busy month?
