An Aesthetic Cover
And yes, there’s a difference between aesthetic and pretty. I don’t know how to put it into words exactly, but it’s there.
The two that I particularly love are What We Left Behind by Robin Talley, and Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. I didn’t particularly enjoy either book, but man oh man do I love having them there on my shelf!
Look at those two books! They’re oh-so gorgeous, and I am so in love.

I have a copy of Shiver and although I wasn’t a big fan of it (I much prefer her Raven Cycle series), but I love the cover. I have a thing for covers that feature trees.

I’ve only read Raven Boys so far, I really want to pick up the rest of the series. I agree though, trees are weirdly mesmerising 🙂
