#ReadThemAllThon Sign Up

I’m probably the last person to write this post, but oh well, here it is! I’m participating in the Pokemon based readathon created by Read at Midnight, who you can check out for more info on some of the more complicated rules.

The Pokemon Indigo League #ReadThemAllThon is a 3 weeks long reading challenge based on the Kanto’s Indigo League. Long-time fans of the series would recognise this as the first set of gyms Ash Ketchum had to conquer in his quest to become the Pokemon Master. The read-a-thon will run for 3 weeks between Sunday 14th August to Sunday 4th September.

I basically never stick to my TBR, but I’m going to write one out anyway, just in case I get stuck for book ideas. If I own the book I’ll write it on here, otherwise I’ll be browsing the library for what I feel like reading.

Pewter City

I’ve heard so many great things about A Court of Thorns and Roses, I figure now is the perfect time to start reading this series!

Cerulean Gym

All the Light We Cannot See is about war. I mean, what more do I need to say?

Vermillion City

I’m going to read Life of Pi for this. The hype isn’t crazy-huge, but it’s big enough that I think it counts! More importantly, I was going to read this anyway…

Celadon City

I plan to read City of Heavenly Fire for this, the last book in the Mortal Instruments series. I love Alec to bits, so it’s a perfect excuse to finish this series!

Fuschia City

I’ve heard pretty great things about basically everything Colleen Hoover has ever written. I chose Confess, but from what I’ve heard a lot of her books would have worked! I’ve also got Pride and Prejudice to start reading in the next few days, but I feel like that’s going to take me a much longer time to read

Saffron City

I’m actually cheating for this one, and finishing off Storm of Swords. It’s a thousand page book, and I’ve been chugging slowly through for a while now. I’m about halfway, so I think I can finish it off in the next couple of weeks!

Viridian City

Cinnabar Island

I’m leaving these last two empty for right now, because I don’t know how much I’ll actually be able to get through. Hopefully I can read all of these, and if I do I’ll come back and add my last two books.

Are you participating in the readathon? What book are you most excited about getting to read over the next couple of weeks?

  1. Don’t worry, you’re not the last! I keep seeing more and more people posting about their TBRs. 🙂 A Court of Thorns and Roses, City of Heavenly Fire, and Pride and Prejudice are all amazing! As for P&P though, I had to listen to it as an audiobook to make any headway- and you can get it for $2 on Audible (instead of 25) if you download the free Kindle ebook! Good luck, and I hope you enjoy everything you read!
