Thanks to Kat @ My Life and Other Disasters for this tag! Yes, again, I’m catching up on what she’s tagged me in 🙂 Kat did it for Valentine’s Day, but I’m doing it because I think we always need a bit of love in our lives
Your favorite book couple
Having read ahead, I know this is a super important question! I’m going with Simon and Clary (fight me) and Gus and Hazel
(also, for those of you who get it; CSG and Elly, Hermem, me and The Girl 😉 )
Your top 3 book boy/girlfriends
Boys would be Augustus Waters, Tyrion Lannister, and Draco Malfoy. Girls are Celaena Sardothian, Luna Lovegood, and Rose Hathaway. I have such a broad mix…
Imagine your favorite book couple. Who would propose, and how? (If there’s already been a proposal: who would be more into organizing the wedding?)
Obviously Augustus! He’s a huge fan of the big gesture, and I’m sure he would know the perfect way to make her swoon
Unpopular opinions time! Name a popular pairing you can’t stand
Jace and Clary, and Adrian and Sydney. I hate Jace just as a general rule, and I don’t like the calmed down version of Adrian that’s in Bloodlines!
What’s your favorite and least favorite romance trope?
I. Hate. Love. Triangles. Particularly where the girl is saying she loves both of them, because NOPE. Choose one or neither, but please don’t lead either of them on!
Do you ship non-canon couples often? Name some if you do
Way too often… Simon and Clary, Gale and Katniss, Dan and Phil (shh, they can be real people too), Bella and Jacob (when I was in that phase), Adrian and Rose. It happens a lot, okay?
Your opinion on love triangles. Go!
See my previous answer on tropes…
Favorite and least favorite love triangle?
I hated the Katniss-Gale-Peeta one, because she completely led both of them on. If there’s one I have to say I like, maybe Rose-Adrian-Dimitri from Vampire Academy? Does that even count? She had a thing with both of them, and I loved both couples together, so…
Sometimes romance just isn’t the way to go. Favorite friendship?
I feel Harry, Hermione and Ron are incredibly underrated. All three of them are super important to each other, and I think it’s no something that’s talked about much within the fandom! Other than them, it is obviously the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, in the earlier books. Give me friends like that PLEASE
What’s your favorite scene with your bookish OTP?
I think it’s just the little things with those two. Like when Augustus was at the gas station, and completely broken, and she helped him. Yeah, going to Amsterdam was cute as heck, but anyone can do that. I like when their unique connection is shown
Imagine your favorite book couple again. Who’s most excited about Valentine’s Day (either ironically or genuinely)?
Both of them! Again, Augustus with his big dramatic gestures. But Hazel couldn’t help herself from getting excited, and getting all nervous when she gave that special gift to him. It would be all gushy and awww and make me melt
Yay for cute tags! Thanks again for tagging me Kat, that was fun 🙂 I nominate you fab people whom I love very very much (and anyone else who wants to do it!)
Blog Squad peeps, I’ll nominate you for the next one!
And on another note, I promise I’ll be back to proper posting soon! It’s school break for two weeks, and I plan to blog and schedule A LOT
Now I want to watch The Fault in Our Stars again! Not fair, I have no time! Clary and Simon? I don’t know, I was always a fan of Simon and Izzy – b/c they’re complete opposites yet they bring so much to one another!!

Dammit, sorry! 😛 I re read it recently, just ignoring all my other responsibilities (including loads of unread books). I forgot about Izzy! I was just thinking how much I don’t like Clary and Jace

Draco Malfoy is TOTALLY my guilty pleasure. He’s soooo immature and would probably need to do a lot of growing before he would make a good boyfriend, but fanfiction Draco is just adorable, haha.
And I’m not very into love triangles either. I’ve never really seen a good one that I like.

Oh, of course, he’d be a terrible boyfriend if we actually stopped to think about it. I just decide I can look past it haha 😛
I feel you. I’m reading the last book in the Shatter Me trilogy at the moment, and I just want to punch everyone involved in this stupid love triangle

Totally. I think in my head I built him up as this tortured dude who will mature and do so really well… yeah. :p
I have not read Shatter Me at all! Would you recommend it? I heard the writing style is a bit overly metaphorical…?

The writing style is quite dramatic. I personally love it, but I can definitely understand lots of people hating it. If you like dystopian books though, I say go for it 🙂

Draco Malfoy is definitely on my top book boyfriends too! In fact he’s my first ever book boyfriend. And I also hate Clace! They’re just too clingy and reckless. Any other ship is better than Clace. Great answers!

Aw, that’s cute! He’s so fantastic 🙂 I’m glad you agree! They’re so awful together, I can’t understand how they’re so popular

Awesome tag!! And yess, I’m so glad someone else hates Jace! I don’t get why everybody is obsessed – he’s so annoying!!
