Exploring My Bookshelves 2016

A Romance Novel

That’s right, it’s Valentine’s Day this week! So what better way to celebrate than talking about our favourite romance novels?

I own way way too many. It’s such an easy genre to read, I find myself reading too much of it. So I’ve narrowed it down to my top three.

If you’ve been on here a while, you’ll know how stupidly in love I am with Jamie from the Outlander series. And a huge part of that is the way he treats his Sassenach, Claire. Really, it’s just his Jamie-ness that makes me love this book.

Next is Vampire Academy. The entire series, even though I just featured the first one. Rose is beaten only be Celaena in bad-ass-ness, and Dimitri is my favourite Russian of all time. Together, they make a pair you’d be terrified to cross in the street, yet seem to be so sweet to each other…

Lastly, a predictable choice – The Fault In Our Stars. It takes a lot for a book or movie to make me cry, and this book had me bawling like a baby. I think that’s because the love between them was so strong, even as teenagers. I plan to re-read this soon actually, so you can look forward to a review on that!

As per usual, let me know your thoughts on the books I’ve chosen! And don’t forget to add your post to the linky. Oh, and also appreciate my pink Valentine’s font right now 😛
