Thanks so much to Meghan for the nomination! I know, I’ve already done it four times. But what I love about this is it’s different every time, with the different set of questions. Here’s how it works:
- Once you are nominated, make a post, thank the blogger who presented this award, and link back to their blog.
- Nominate 11 (smaller) bloggers (try to keep under 300 followers). You may have to go hunting for these blogs, the idea is to find new blogs and share them with the community. Let them know they have been nominated by commenting on their blog
- Answer the 11 question that the presenter asked you
- Write 11 questions for the bloggers you nominated to answer
1.Besides reading, what is your favourite thing to do in your free time?
Blogging is probably #1. I love to write as well, and swim, so I’m hoping to get really into those things this year
2.What is your favourite colour and why?
It changes all the time! Generally a dark blue or light purple though. Those are the ones I used most often in my posts, and I look really good in those coloured clothes
3.What is your favourite genre to read?
Anything young adult. Within that, I don’t really have a preference. I’m a mood reader, so that means I’ll read anything and everything (except maybe horror…)
4.If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what book would you choose?
That’s such a difficult question! I want to say something massive, like one of the Song of Ice and Fire books, or one of the Outlander books. Because they’re so big, it’ll take up a lot of time to read, and I think by re-reading you’d find a lot of hidden secrets you hadn’t noticed before
5.If you had to choose between reading only series or only stand-alones for the rest of your life, what would you choose?
Definitely series! Because you can stop reading at one book if you want to, or you can carry on and get swept away in an entire new world
6.If you could spend one day with any character you wanted from a book, which would you choose and why?
Ahh, such a difficult question! I want to pick someone no one really knows anything about. Like maybe one of the Raven Boys, to see how mysterious they really are in real life. Or would they open up to me? Who knows?
7.If you had the ability to go to any place (made-up or real) for a week, where would you go and why?
Hogwarts would obviously be my made up place. Even if I couldn’t learn anything, sitting in the classrooms and watching other people do magic would be amazing. Plus, food at the Great Hall! Oh, and I’d go for winter, because we don’t get snow here, so that’d be an added bonus.
For real, I’m tied between Arizona, where I recently did an exchange, or London. I desperately want to see my host family, and my amazing friends, but I also really want to go somewhere new! I’ve been told that London is never boring, because there’s something to do no matter who you are. That’s exactly what I need!
8.Where do you see your blog in 5 years?
Is it bad that I don’t know if I’ll still be blogging in 5 years? I mean, I’ll be at the end of university then, about to go out into the real world and get a job (assuming everything goes according to plan). I don’t think I’ll have nearly as much free time to read, or post, so who knows if I’ll try to keep it up? If I do, I want it to be somewhere that makes me happy. I want to want to make time for blogging, and be excited by each and every post I write, not writing things I feel obligated to write
9.Why did you start blogging?
To share my thoughts, and find people out there who think the same way I do
10.What is your favorite types of blog posts to make/ read?
I really like reading discussion posts, because they always make me think. But I don’t make nearly enough, so for make I have to say book tags. They introduce me to so many new, amazing blogs
11.What is your favourite fandom?
That I’m part of, Harry Potter hands down. We STILL find new stuff to fangirl over. Otherwise, it’s got to be Supernatural. I haven’t watched it yet, but you fans are crazy! Oh, or Sherlock – I admire your patience, waiting for years between seasons

I would definitely go to Hogwarts just for the winter. Australian winters are freezing cold but no snow which makes no sense. What is a winter without snow 😦

Same with New Zealand! At least where I am, there’s snow further south

That sounds so cool! 🙂 How far did you have to travel and how different was it from your regular home life??

I’m from New Zealand, so it took three flights to get there – 4 hours, then 14 hours, then 1 hour to Arizona 🙂 Parts were incredibly different, but parts were pretty similar!
