This month, I’m counting down the days until Christmas as a part of Blogmas. Just like an advent calander! Except no chocolate… I’m also offering you guys a little Christmas present. For all the days of December, I’ll be following back anyone who chooses to follow me. SO tell your friends, and let’s get our follower counts up!
First off, I’d just like to say that Twelfth is a really awkward word. Say it out loud. Spell it! It’s just… Awkward
Today, I’m doing a post that I’m honestly impressed I didn’t do first – all the best Christmas books!
I already talked about Dash and Lily here, but there a lot more, and even some that I’ve read! On Christmas Eve, my mum, my brother and I always snuggle up to read some of them. There’s Twas The Night Before Christmas (which I’ll talk about more on Christmas Eve), The Kiwi Night Before Christmas, and Fartsy Claus. The three of us have been reading these books for as long as I can remember, and I love them! Well, okay, maybe Fartsy Claus is more aimed at my brother. Still funny though!
Looking at this list, one of the most popular is When the Grinch Stole Christmas. I’m completely terrified of this book! The Grinch scares the heck out of me, and has ever since I was a child. I planned to conquer my fear of him this Christmas, but I need someone to look after me while I watch it… I can’t even remember what was so scary about him, but I do know that I still look away when I see the movie or the book. *shudder*
Like I said before, I don’t read too many Christmas books. So this post is more about YOU – what Christmas books do you read every year? I need some recommendations, ASAP! So comment below, or send me links to lists. Anything, just get me into the Christmas spirit!!!!!
