Award Winning Books
Actually, she specified a Pulitzer Prize winner, but it turns out I don’t own any of those! So, I chose to do a Goodreads prize winner instead.
I own both the YA fantasy winner, the YA fiction winner, and two of the YA fantasy nominees. These books are Queen of Shadows (shown in the picture), All the Bright Places (an e-book, so difficult to take a picture of!), The Heir (shown in the picture), and the Ruby Circle.
I haven’t read Queen of Shadows yet, but I plan to soon! The others, though, I can confirm are completely deserving of this prize. All the Bright Places is probably the best book I’ve read all year, it made me sob like a little girl. The Ruby Circle finished the series brilliantly, and The Heir took me straight back to that awesome world (except with a hellish main character).
What book did you choose this week? Do you own any Pulitzer Prize winners, or did you have to bend the rules like me?
Do required school books count? Those generally have a lot of awards. I know one on my shelf right now is a Nobel Peace Prize winner.

We don’t buy our school books, we just borrow them, so mine have all been returned. But good point! 🙂
