Exploring My Bookshelves (#38) – What Was That Again?

Exploring My Bookshelves is a weekly meme created over here at Addlepates and Book Nerds, and co-hosted with Shannon @ For the Love of Words. For more info on how it works, have a look here

This week, I want to know…

Exploring My Bookshelves Shelves

A Book You Can Barely Remember

If my dad were reading this, he would want to know why we even bother keeping it. Because we’re nerds Dad, that’s why! He doesn’t understand…

This book was pretty easy to find, because of the way my shelves are set up. My top shelf (2nd picture) used to be too tall for me to reach, so all the books I didn’t really like went up there. And even though I can reach it easy-peasy now, I still stick with that system. So all the books I haven’t read it years, or need to re-read just to confirm I can throw it away, live up on that shelf.

Anyway, this week I chose The Other Book by Philip Womack. All I remember is I bought it with another book, and every time someone asked me what I bought I would say “Book X and The Other Book” and think I was absolutely hilarious. Even reading the blurb I have no recollection of this at all… I’ve put it on my TBR, and hopefully I’ll re-read it soon and it’ll all come flooding back to me!

What did you choose this week? Did you have a lot of options, or barely any? And if you’re mad at me for not having a Linky, that’s one of my number 1 things to start changing around here!
