Thursday Quotables (#13)

Thursday Quotables is a meme from Bookshelf Fantasies. You just quote your favourite line or passage from whatever you’re reading!

Thursday Quotables

This quote is from the Kill Order by James Dashner, a prequel to the Maze Runner. This quote was so good that I even folded over the corner of the page it was on – I never, ever, damage my books like that!

The was a sudden rush of movement, the sound of other torches being clicked on, their beams criscrossing and bobbing in a chaotic dance through the air

My favourite part of this book was Dashner’s descriptions. He writes beautifully, and you can really picture what he’s trying to describe to us

As usual, send me a link to your quote! Have any of you read this book, or the Maze Runner series? What did you think?

I was a book blogger for a while, and I now blog about every little thing in life I can think of. Bear with me while I try all these new posts out... I'm a New Zealand teen who gets angry about the world (but not angry enough for tumblr). I like to capture the world through photos and words, and read in all the moments in nz-squadbetween. I have an overwhelming desire to see every corner of the world I possibly can, and hug the people I love in all those corners. I can't do make up to save myself, and you're more likely to find me buying matching stationary than matching clothes. My nerd hobbies include a new found love of the Avengers, reading YA, watching Game of Thrones, How I Met Your Mother, and every vlogger I can find, and being the last person on the music bandwagons. I have big plans for the rest of my life, including university, teaching, travelling, and having an army of puppies. I plan to blog every second of it!

  1. I read the Mazerunner series and fell in love! It is so amazing, even though the Death Cure ending was super sad and the Kill Order ending was worse, it was one of the very, VERY few books that I actually cried for. I practically died inside 😦 But the books were absolutely amazing

    Love and books,
    Veda ❤
