Seriously, is this year going too fast or is it just me? How can it be October already?!? I feel like this month only started yesterday, yet here’s my wrap-up post…
In real life, I was incredibly busy this month. I had exams… Not real exams (those come next month), just mocks for practice. Still, this means a LOT of studying, and no free time! I think my blog suffered a little, and I know my reading did. The worst bit? I didn’t even do that well! It’s okay, I think I will have improved a lot by the time my real exams come around.
But, I made sure I made the most of the free time I did have. I participated in my first ever Dewey’s Readathon, which went well, even if I didn’t manage to do the entire 24 hours. I also did some Twitter chats; the Blog Hop Party Chat which was great for meeting new bloggers, and the We Need Diverse Blogs chat, which has given me a lot of ideas for how to improve my blog. Oh, and I started on some surprises happening soon, which I’m sure you’ll hear all about
Here’s what I did manage to read:
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. Goodreads and review
Harry Potter #1 by J.K. Rowling. Goodreads and review.
A Magic Dark and Bright by Jenny Adams. Goodreads (review to come)
The Restaurant at the End of the Universe by Douglas Adams. Goodreads and my review is currently scheduled for next month
The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead. Goodreads and review
Golden Son by Pierce Brown. Goodreads and I need to somehow function and put my thoughts into words…
The Kill Order by James Dashner. Goodreads here. I finished this on the very last day of the month (frantically to get points for a challenge!). So give me a break guys, the review is coming!
Actually, 7 books isn’t that bad, considering how little time I had. Some of them were short, but still! I’m proud of that effort. And I reviewed more of them than I thought I had, which means next month isn’t going to be as busy as I thought it would be review-wise.
Life wise, it’s going to be VERY busy. It’s real exam time. No more mucking around, I have to be serious (for once). They’re pretty spread out, so I won’t be under a lot of pressure all the time, but I apologise if I’m not posting as much! And once those exams are finished (on the 24th), I’m free for the summer holidays!!!!! Two months of no school, and a whole lot of time to relax… I can’t wait!
Oh, and the highlight of October? NEW ZEALAND ARE THE RUGBY WORLD CUP CHAMPIONS!!!!! I’m so proud!!
How have your October’s been? Productive? Stressful? Relaxing? Did you watch the rugby? Have you read any of the books I have this month?
A lovely wrap up. I’m always super impressed by people who are organised enough to post their wrap up on that last day of a month, so well done you! X

Thanks! I literally just wrote it about an hour ago, so I’m not that organised haha 😛 But I’m like you, I love people who can post them on time, so I aspire to be one
