(Slightly Late) Monthly Wrap-Up

I can’t believe April is over already! Seriously, what is happening to this year?!? But I have A LOT of exciting things happening in May, so it isn’t all bad 🙂

I participated in a challenge in this group on Goodreads, and our team went a little bit challenge-crazy. I managed to get through 18 books this month! This is what I read:

The Giver by Lois Lowry

Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard

Flawless by Sara Shepard

Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater

Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi

Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman

Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins

All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven

City of Glass by Cassandra Clare

Death of a Chorus Girl by P.M. Briede

Perfect by Sara Shepard

The Witches by Roald Dahl

Girls in Pants by Ann Brashares

Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging by Louise Renninson

Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder

Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder

The Other Side of Dawn by John Marsden (which technically I finished in May…)

Posts

As usual, I tried to post every day this month. I did Top Ten Tuesday, Exploring My Bookshelves (which is getting more popular, thank you everyone!!), tags to celebrate my followers, a few Thursday Quotables. And I posted some book reviews I should have posted long ago…

Next month, MY EXCHANGE BEGINS!!!!!! I know, you’re all crazy jealous. Well, probably not you Americans so much… Anyway, I leave on July 3rd, BUT my exchange buddy, Chloe, gets here on the 25th of May. So yeah, posts may be a little scarce around then, since I’ll be crazy busy showing her the fabulous New Zealand. And it’s my birthday on the 26th, hooray! I’ll be a dancing queen (17 for those of you who don’t know ABBA).

But, I still have some things planned! I have a buddy read of the Selection starting Monday, where three different blogs will be reading and talking about the book. Feel free to read along if you want, and make sure to follow the tour! I’ll also be continuing Exploring My Bookshelves, and hopefully making that a little more popular. I want to have a review for every book I read in April up by the end of the month (I know, big goals…).

I have only one more of my tags to go before I’ve celebrated all 100 of my followers. However, now I’m up to 200!! So, do you want me to carry on? Let me know 🙂

Last thing: just remember that you’re all fabulous, and thank you thank you thank you for reading my posts! *hugs*

  1. Wow, that’s a lot. Lucky you! I’ll be going on a killer reading spree on July after my exams finishes. Gotta survive until then. And congrats for the followers thingy, you deserve it! 🙂
