Burn, Rewrite or Reread

I saw this over at Find Me At the Library, and it looked so fun! So even though it’s not like my normal tags, I thought I’d do this one anyway.

Basically, you get three random books (I do mine through Goodreads) and decide which one to burn, which one to rewrite, and which one to reread. I’ve done 4 rounds (apparently it’s meant to be three, but they did 5!)

ROUND 1

Boy In Striped Pyjamas

Divine Madness

Dancing in my Nuddy Pants

The Boy in Striped Pyjamas: ahhh. Burn? Purely because the other two beat it, not because there’s anything wrong with this!

Divine Madness (Cherub #5): reread. I haven’t read this series in so long, it’s definitely time for a reread!

Dancing in my Nuddy-Pants (Georgia Nicolson #4): rewrite. I’d just make Georgia a little bit less fake

ROUND 2

Driftwood

Shatter Me

Shadowspell

Driftwood: rewrite. There are just little flaws that need a touch up

Shatter Me: reread. I couldn’t bear to change the writing from this, it’s so beautiful!

Shadowspell (Faeriewalker #2): burn. I can’t remember it AT ALL, so it can’t be that good. Right?

ROUND 3

Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants

Beauty and the Beast

Thumped

Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants: rewrite. Let’s fix Carmen to make her LESS WHINY UGH.

Beauty and the Beast: reread. Such a cute little book!

Thumped (Bumped #2): burn. Even though it wasn’t terrible, it was easily the worst of the three

ROUND 4

Angels

A Winter's Day In 1939

Oakleaf Bearers

Angels (Walsh Family #3): reread. I love Marian!

A Winter’s Day in 1939: burn. God I hated this. SO MUCH.

A Battle for Skandia (Ranger’s Apprentice #4): rewrite. Maybe if we fix the small flaws in this one, Flanagan will rewrite the rest and fix the horror that was the last few books

That was fun! As part of my celebrating 100 followers (I know, STILL) I tag my next 10 followers:

Little Miss Sealz

Blue Jay Books

Glenn Hates Books (so burn for all of them, then..?)

The Bookish God

The Last Reader

CK’s Reading Corner

Short Story Long

Becca and Books

Itchy Quill

Bookmarked Pages

Of course, anyone can do this if they want to! Let me know your thoughts on my post; any books you want to save? Any books you wish I’d burned?
