Exploring My Bookshelves (#4)

Welcome to Exploring My Bookshelves, an original meme from Addlepates and Book Nerds!

Here’s how it works:

  1. Post a picture of your bookshelf (preferably literal, but e-shelves work too). Here are mine:Bookshelf Meme
  2. I’ll give you something about your shelf to write about. It might be your favourite cover, your favourite author, your book you most recently bought etc
  3. Then give us the blurb and the cover of the book (and what you thought of it if you’ve read it)
  4. And finally, come back to my post and send us a link! I promise to check out all of your posts!

Sorry I’m posting later than usual! Next week I have a history internal all week, a biology internal on Wednesday and Thursday, and a maths internal on Friday. Plus media studies homework. So I’ve had no time to do posts since last weekend, I’ve been busy preparing for everything! So next week, once all that is over, I’ll be making a link thing so you can add your links instead of commenting.

This week I want to know…

What book on your shelf has the most pages?

I think mine is the final Skulduggery Pleasant book, Dying of the Light. It’s 605 pages. Click on the cover to be taken to the Goodreads page!

Dying of the Light

The War of the Sanctuaries has been won, but it was not without its casualties. Following the loss of Valkyrie Cain, Skulduggery Pleasant must use any and all means to track down and stop Darquesse before she turns the world into a charred, lifeless cinder.
And so he draws together a team of soldiers, monster hunters, killers, criminals… and Valkyrie’s own murderous reflection.
The war may be over, but the final battle is about to begin. And not everyone gets out of here alive…

As usual, send me a link when you’re done! Let’s see how many of you can beat me 😛

    1. I feel your pain! I don’t post my pile on the floor 😛 I didn’t plan this out well enough, because I rushed the post. My edition of Harry Potter isn’t as long (yours is freakishly massive!) But I completely forgot I own Clash of Kings…
