Thursday Quotables

Thursday Quotables is a meme from Bookshelf Fantasies. You just quote your favourite line or passage from whatever you’re reading!

I’ll be on holiday by the time this posts, and reading something else (who knows what). But at the time I wrote this, I was reading Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire #2).

Clash of Kings

I’ve decided to pick two. One from Tyrion – because let’s be honest, everything about Tyrion is perfect.

"You look very elegant today, my lord."
"I'm wounded. I strive to look elegant every day." - Tyrion & Littlefinger"

And one about Tyrion, but that’s just because it happens to be quite inspirational.

"Power resides where men believe it resides. No more no less.'
"So power is a mummer's trick?"
"A shadow on the wall,... yet shadows can kill. And ofttimes a very small man can cast a very large shadow."

So, there’s my first ever Thursday Quotables! Send me a link if you’ve done this yourself, or just comment a favourite quote. And tell me if you liked mine, or would you have used a different one?

I was a book blogger for a while, and I now blog about every little thing in life I can think of. Bear with me while I try all these new posts out... I'm a New Zealand teen who gets angry about the world (but not angry enough for tumblr). I like to capture the world through photos and words, and read in all the moments in nz-squadbetween. I have an overwhelming desire to see every corner of the world I possibly can, and hug the people I love in all those corners. I can't do make up to save myself, and you're more likely to find me buying matching stationary than matching clothes. My nerd hobbies include a new found love of the Avengers, reading YA, watching Game of Thrones, How I Met Your Mother, and every vlogger I can find, and being the last person on the music bandwagons. I have big plans for the rest of my life, including university, teaching, travelling, and having an army of puppies. I plan to blog every second of it!
