Top Ten Tuesday (#5)

This is a meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. They tell us what to write our top ten list for, and we do! This week…

Top Ten Goals/Resolutions for 2015. I’m not sure I have 10, so I’ve decided to do 5 books and blogging, and 5 other ones.

toptentuesday

  1. Get more followers! I’m aiming for 100 followers, Bloglovin’ and WordPress combined by the end of the year
  2. Read 105 books in a year. I only read about 80 this year, so it’ll be a bit of a stretch, but I found a fun challenge to do it
  3. Use my TBR jar, don’t just leave it to gather dust
  4. Post more about me, not just the same boring book reviews all the time
  5. Read books from different genres. Specifically, I want to try a few classics

And ones in the other part of my life…

  1. Wear more jewellery. I have a lot, and I never wear it!
  2. Get my drivers licence
  3. Don’t be afraid. This applies to lots of things, fundraising and going on my exchange to Arizona, talking to new people, participating in classes, trying out new activities, etc etc. This could even apply to trying out new things on my blog!
  4. Try to make new friends. I’m not entirely happy with the group I’m with now, and what’s the point in friends that don’t make you happy?
  5. Be more organised! This can apply to my blog too – organise posts in advance, be on top of all my homework, especially ones worth credits, study in time for exams, be ready for fundraising, etc.

So, there’s my resolutions! What are yours? Link me to your Top Ten Tuesdays, or just resolutions if you haven’t done them this way. Or, just tell me in the comments!

  1. Great resolutions! I also want to post more about myself. I post so much about books, but I want my blog followers to get to know me better. I really like number three on your blogging list. I’ve been using a TBR for the last few months. It’s a great thing to have. 🙂

  2. Those are great resolutions! I need to be more organized too! I’ve thought about having a TBR jar, I’ve seen them, but I’m such a “mood” reader, I’m not sure it would work for me! Great post, thanks for sharing! 🙂

    1. If you click on the link I posted, I’ve explained the 105 challenge 🙂 Thanks, hopefully I don’t forget! You’ve commented on ALL my posts, I’ll definitely be looking at your giveaway, and probably some other posts too 🙂

  3. Thanks for visiting my blog! I saw that you review mostly YA, so I’m following you 🙂

Also, I think I may adopt a couple of your personal goals, like wearing more jewelry (I, too, have a lot that I never wear) and making new friends. Wish you the best in 2015!

  4. Great goals. I just started blogging in November so I would love more followers on Bloglovin as well. I tried to find your blog, but couldn’t. And yeah the TBR jar sounds really interesting. 🙂

  5. I find the best way to get followers is to find other blogs that you like and are like yours and to follow and comment on them. (It sounds so simple but it took me months to figure that out)

My goal last year was 100 books and I sort of succeeded. Yay for more personal stuff! I always plan to read different genres but it never happens. I’m the same way with jewelry. I like getting it.

Good luck with your goals! 🙂 I’m still working on that not being afraid one.

    1. Good tip 🙂 I should be doing that, then I get distracted… I’ve had a lot of these resolutions before, I’m hoping posting them will make me more determined to keep them.
Thanks! Hopefully we can both be brave this year 😀
